The Brightest Light
I have a new piece available online as part of a project with Abandoned Pittsburgh and Bridge and Tunnel Books. Eight local writers chose one of Chuck Beard’s photos and wrote a short piece to accompany it. Mine is called “The Brightest Light” and inspired by a photo of Allegheny Social Hall. Read it here!
Reading in October
I will be reading a short fiction piece alongside several other local writers on October 2 at the Pump House in Braddock, PA. Each writer chose a photograph from Chuck Beard’s Abandoned Pittsburgh collection that spoke to them, and then wrote a piece inspired by it. See more details at the Facebook event!
